Birmingham Supercross penalty report

There was a fair amount of drama at the Birmingham round of Supercross but most of it centered around Haiden “Danger Boy” Deegan. Adam Cianciarulo was docked five championship points for jumping on a red cross flag, did not see him address this yet. But would assume he did not see the flag in time or was blocked from his view.

Haiden had an eventful weekend that caused him to end up on the penalty report twice. In the heat race he was out front on the start and he got tangled with Seth Hammaker resulting in their bikes being stuck together. They might share some blame but Deegan was out front and Seth probably should have backed off. This led to tempers heating up and boiling over a little after the heat race. Haiden walked over to the Kawasaki pits to give them a piece of his mind about what happened. This led to his code of conduct penalty and a $1,000 fine. He also banged into Coty Schock in the final corner of the main event to make a pass for seventh place. This resulted in Coty’s collar bone breaking, this did not result in a penalty just more heated tempers.
