Deegan mania keeps growing after Redbud win
There is no doubt that internet sensation and youth standout is a huge draw at races and is bring more casual fans into the sport. This is evident by the number of fans cheering him in person at races and the massive support online. Just last year he was racing in the Pro Motocross Combine and turning heads and this season in the 250 pro class he has been building up to his first win.
Haiden finished the day with the overall win by placing 2nd and 3rd in the two moto format. Hunter Lawrence won the first moto but crashed early in the second moto ending his day and missing out on those points. Levi Kitchen grabbed the top spot in moto two, but the third place finish was enough points to nab the first overall win for Deegan. With Hunter loosing points and Haidens strong finish he was able to close the points gap to 11 and be within striking distance of the red plate.
This shot of confidence is going to make Danger Boy even for dangerous in the coming rounds for Hunter to try and protect his lead for the season championship. A win also feeds the fan base that unconditionally supports the Deegan family who never had doubt that it would start to rein wins down on the young rider soon.
