SMX Playoff 1 Qualified riders and places

The SuperMotocross World Championship Finals, fueled by Monster Energy start tomorrow and already have fans on the edge of their seats. Today we will get a brief look at the riders during practice rounds after an 11:30AM EST press conference.

250SMX Athletes

In the 250SMX class there are some athletes returning and some that won’t be racing this post season. Taking the playoff rounds off is Daxton Bennick after releasing an announcement earlier in week that he would be focusing on getting his body healthy and preparing for the 2025 Supercross season. Back from injuries will be Jo Shimoda and RJ Hampshire, RJ raced the very last part of the outdoor Pro Motocross season to get a little bit of competition before the playoff starts. Joey Savatgy in big news this week is out at Triumph, and may be showing up at ZMAX on a different ride. There is some real talent in the LCQ list and getting into the main event wont be easy.

450SMX Athletes

The 450 class is pretty set with the full roster back and hopefully ready to compete. We saw Tomac and Webb make late returns to outdoor races trying to work them back into race shape before the playoffs. While Jett Lawrence is hoping his short amount of time on the bike after his recovery is enough to challenge the huge momentum that Chase Sexton built outdoors this year.
