Playoff Round 1 – Columbus, OH
The first SMX playoff round will be held at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH, and the track appears to be a mostly Supercross-style design. The design feels like it could fit into any round of the Supercross season; the main thing that sticks out is a track extension. Looks like a section of the bleachers can be retracted, and a large sweeping turn will extend into that section for a larger floor space. It’s a right-hand start turn, which we don’t get as often, and there are two straightaway sand sections.

Playoff Round 2 – Carson, CA
The layout in Carson, CA, for the second playoff round is also a Supercross style, which should be expected with it being inside a sports stadium. There is a plethora of sand in the design with three sand sections that will hopefully lead to some good racing opportunities.

SMX World Championship Final
The design for the Finale offers the most flexibility as it’s not in a traditional sports stadium. The amphitheater-style arena offers plenty of open space for a track build, and the design looks like a true hybrid SMX layout.
