Austin Forkner gives emotional update on health after Arlington crash

Just a few days after his terrifying crash in Arlington, TX Austin Forkner gives an emotional update on his health status. As most of the racing world has seen by this point the big crash from round 7 of the Supercross season in Texas. I know it left most wondering about serious health consequences for Austin, but luck appears to be on his side. He escaped with far lesser injuries than what most thought given the severity of the crash.

He suffered a broken scapula and fractures to his L2 and L3 vertabrae in his neck. He was out for 3-5 minutes which we did not know of race night but as Austin mentions was scary to think back on. Given all of this he will need to get some further tests to ensure there is not any undiagnosed damage. We are sending our prayers and best wishes as Austin ponders his future in racing and hopefully does not rush into any decision too fast. We look forward to you healing up 100% and hope to cheer you on in the future.
