Nashville Supercross penalty report

There was lots of action in Nashville and crashes but the penalty report from the AMA was on the lighter side this round. There were just two penalties from round 14 and both were in the 250SX class. In the 250SX west heat race, Lux Turner was penalized for jumping on the Red Cross flag. He was penalized 2 positions for the infraction. This flag was the result of a crash by Garrett Marchbanks that left him on the ground from a crash in the first section that resulted in a concussion and broken thumb.

The other penalty was for Henry Miller who was doc’d for grooming in front of the start gate. We have not heard specifics on what he did to earn the penalty. This is typically the result of using wheel spin to clear out the rut in front of the gate on the sight lap. For this, he lost two positions.
