During the Daytona Supercross race this evening Feld announced the dates and locations of the three SMX playoff rounds. The great news is they will all be in speedway locations. I think the speedway’s give more space to have different layouts and the opportunity for more speed. The Chicagoland Speedway round last year was a pretty cool track and the racing was intense. You could argue the facility was past its prime but the action was there.
For round 1 of the playoffs they are returning to zMAX Speedway in Charlotte that featured the unique split start straight that had people guessing last year. The round 2 race will be at Texas Motor Speedway and the Final round in Las Vegas at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
