The rumor started circulating at Indy, the last round of Supercross, that there could be a few fill-in rides to be announced soon. One of those was Nick Romano jumping on board with the Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. He will be filling in for the injured Drew Adams and will be racing the remainder of the 250 East Supercross season. Nick has been spotted riding Levi Kitchen’s practice bike recently, and whether that was a coincidence or preparation, it surely helps the cause now.

We will see Nick racing the green bike this weekend in Birmingham as the 250 East/West Showdown. He will be lined up with all the riders in the 250 class and wont get much breathing room for his debut on the Kawasaki. Here are a few words from Nick

6 months ago I didn’t even own a dirtbike and for the first time in my life, I didn’t know if I wanted to keep continuing on this journey or not, but the man up above told me we weren’t done yet. So I sacked up bought my own bike and kept at it. There was some dark days along the way but a couple things I learned from that time was patience & Hard work is a key part of life. Kids put your mind on something and don’t let anything stop you. Most importantly, @mitchcpayton thank you for believing in me & giving me this opportunity when no one else did.

Here we are, going back to the races for @monsterenergy@pcraceteam@racekawasaki . 10 years later I’m back home and on my dream bike.
The team and I have had a great week and a half putting in the work and man it feels good to say we’re going racing.
LETS GET IT.
