SMX Next series will run a double header in St. Louis to decide the Championship

The best and brightest talent in the amateur ranks will be lining up is St. Louis to contest the SMX Next post-season Championship. Many of these young athletes have done at least one SMX Next or Moto Combine event earlier this year. These events give them important experience on their journey towards becoming a professional motocross or supercross athlete. In rather surprising news, there are four athletes from the Midwest in this series. Typically, we do not see a lot of athletes from the central states race Supercross events, as there is little to no access to tracks unless you move to the south or out west. There are three from Wisconsin and one from Missouri that will be racing in The Done this weekend.

Following the postponement of the opening SMX Next World All-Stars race this past weekend in Concord, North Carolina, the elite athletes that comprise the field of prospects contesting the postseason will travel to St. Louis for an action-packed weekend inside The Dome at America’s Center. A two-day doubleheader has been announced for the World All-Stars, with the Playoff 1 race scheduled for this Friday, September 12, followed by the second, championship-deciding Playoff 2 race on Saturday, September 13, run in conjunction with SMX World Championship Playoff 2. The pair of races will determine which athlete will emerge with the SMX Next World Championship No. 1 Plate. Timed qualifying sessions will be held on both Friday and Saturday to set the field for each respective Playoff race.
