Loretta Lynn’s Regional at Briarcliff MX

0

With the Regional rounds of the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National series coming to a close next weekend, the field at Briarcliff Motocross was packed. This was a youth regional and brought top talent from all over the United States, and a few international competitors also. The weather was forecasting rain for all three days of the event, and while the rain did happen as expected, it mostly occurred outside of racing hours, so it did not affect the track conditions or racing negatively.

At this point in the Loretta’s season, most of the top prospects have already secured their ticket to the ranch, unless they are returning from an injury or using a fallback region because of an issue at an earlier attempt. Just because the gates were not stacked with big names, does not mean the racing was any less interesting. The top six finishers from each class earned their tickets to compete at the ranch and will be using the rest of the summer to train before racing the national in late July.

You can get the final results for this regional and others from the official results page here.
