Loretta Lynn’s Regional at Tigerton MX

The final weekend of the Regional rounds was just wrapped up, and the Youth final one took place at Tigerton MX in Wisconsin. The track had last hosted a youth regional back in 2022. This was the last chance to earn a ticket to the ranch for these young competitors, of which this was their only try, and others that missed at other regionals had just this one chance left. The crowd felt down compared to the 2022 visit we had here; there were just over 700 entries this past weekend. There were heats required in many of the classes, but felt a bit smaller than the Briarcliff regional that was the weekend before.

The track got rough, and the sandy soil made for a unique set of challenges for the young athletes. Whether it was the bumps, ruts, or sand, there was something to challenge every rider. Cash Anderson was one of the standouts from the weekend, earing tickets in three of his four classes he raced. He won the overall in Supermini 1 and 2, along with Mini Sr. 2. In the big bike classes of School Boy 1 and 125 Jr it was Austin Camden that took home the overall in both.

We had our photographer, Nicholle, out there grabbing all the best images of the racing and put together a sample gallery below.
