In some very late-season news and a bit of a big Christmas present for the FXR crew, Triumph Factory Racing has announced a three-year deal for the US-based 250cc SMX team with FXR Racing. The team of Austin Forkner, Jalek Swol, Stilez Robertson, and Jordon Smith will all be suited up in FXR. The next news we hope to hear out of Triumph is which two riders will be racing the West Coast series and give us the first glimpse of the new threads.
This is great news for both sides but especially represents a large win for the FXR team as it is the first complete Factory Team win for them. They’ve had a very successful and continuing relationship with the ClubMX team and several other riders from privateers and factory riders, such as Benny Bloss, on the Beta team.
“We’re extremely honoured and excited to partner with an iconic brand like Triumph. When the opportunity arose to partner with them for 2025, it was a really easy decision to make. This is the first time that FXR has supported a full factory team and with so many eyes on the team and brand, it made perfect sense to join their program. Timing is everything in this industry and we can’t wait to see the team in action at A1 in 2025” – Milt Reimer
“As a new member of the Triumph Racing program, I am excited to beging a strong and meaningful relationship with FXR as they join the program alongside me. FXR are a great group of people, and their presence in SX/MX racing has taken off. The riders are very happy with the product and it pairs well with our bikes too. Together we look to forward to the future and continue strengthening our partnership with FXR Racing.”— Jeremy Coker
